New Annular Foam Dies

Our annular foam dies are manufactured per customer specifications.

Features include:

Sizes:

12 inch (300mm), 15.5 inch (400 mm) and 18 inch (460 mm) diameter die bodies.

Spider Design:

Single and dual spider

Heat:

Oil and/or electric. Advanced dies have three (3) zones of oil heating:

• Body
• Outer Die Lip
• Inner Die Lip

Die Gap Control:

Advanced Design: Remote hand crank adjustment to open and close the internal die lip via harmonic drive. Adjustment includes a digital readout for reference in resetting die gaps.

Low Cost Design: Basic die gap control via tightening and loosening end nut.
 

Used & Rebuilt Annular Foam Dies

We have a rotating stock of used annular dies, originally manu- factured by Sencorp Systems, Inc., Sentinel Products Corp., Gloucester Engineering (Battenfeld) and other suppliers. If we do not have the specific item in stock, we will perform a global search for you. We provide the dies “as is” or we will rebuild to your requirements.
 

Polystyrene Foam Air Rings

FOAMTEK, LLC provides internal and external air rings for the “skinning” of polystyrene foam sheet. Our air rings are constructed from aluminum. They are custom designed to fit the appropriate die lip and die.
 

Polyethylene Foam Flattening Rings

Flattening rings assist in “ironing” polyethylene foam sheet to be flat. They are typically used for 0.5 inch (12 mm) thick polyethylene foam sheet but can also be used for thinner gauges. Flattening rings are manufactured from aluminum stock and are Teflon coated.
